God’s Own Country as its popularly known Kerala experiences the first spell of rain in India. Whereas, rainfall in the rest of the nation occurs in July, Kerala observes it around the first week of June followed by Mumbai and Delhi.

Furthermore, Kerala is known as the most literate state in India with the literacy rate of 93.91%, while the whole country’s literacy rate stands at a mere 74.01%. Itinerary

  • Reach Kochi around 9:30 Am in the morning and begin your drive towards Munnar.
  • Visit the famous Cheeyappara & Vallarta Waterfalls on the way to Munnar.
  • After reaching Munnar, check in to our hotel and have some leisure.
  • Feel free to take a stroll around the place and take the Kerala vibes.
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in Munnar.
  • Wake up to the peaceful morning and post breakfast, head out to explore the Teastates.
  • Visit the Rose garden, Photo point, Eco point, Mattupetty dam and Chennai shooting point.
  • After that, we will visit KDHP Tea Tasting, Team Museum & Eravikulam National park (This will be open in April).
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in Munnar.
  • Wake up to the peaceful morning and post breakfast, drive toward Thekkady from Munnar.
  • After reaching Munnar, check in to our hotel and have some leisure.
  • Head out to explore spice plantations with a guide.
  • After that we will go to Periyar national park (you can do a safari ride on your own).
  • If time allows, You can also see a Kathakali-Kalari show at Kadathanadan Kalari center.
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in Thekkady.
  • Wake up to the relaxed morning and post breakfast, begin your drive from Thekkady to Alleppey “The Backwater Capital of Kerala”.
  • After arriving at Alleppey, check into the houseboat and have some leisure.
  • After that, cruise through the backwater, discover the swaying beauty of the narrow canals, verdant paddy fields, coconut lagoons and coir villages.
  • Overnight stay in a houseboat in Alleppey.
  • Wake up early and have breakfast, begin your drive towards Varkala.
  • After arriving at the city with the most gorgeous beaches - Varkala, check in to our hotel and have some leisure.
  • Spend some time at Virgin beach Papanasam and thereafter visit the Sivagiri Memorial of Late. Sri Narayana Guru and Janardhana Swami Temple.
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in Varkala.
  • Post breakfast, head out to explore Munroe Island via boat.
  • After that, visit the Jatayu Earth Center at Chadayamangalam.
  • Drive back to Varkala.
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in Varkala.
  • Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum Airport
  • Reach home with lots of unforgettable memories.
